What does a typical day look like as a Consultant in the Sustainability team?
Every day in the Sustainability team is different! I'm currently working on three projects: helping a tech company comply with EU and national sustainability regulations, supporting off-grid solar companies with e-waste management, and conducting ESG due diligence on potential investments. The best part? Constant learning, collaboration, and making a real impact.

Why did you choose a career in consulting?
I was drawn to consulting because of the sheer variety of projects and the chance to build expertise across different sectors. Every project is a fresh challenge, offering opportunities for growth and learning. It’s incredibly fulfilling to influence change in different industries and see how our work makes a tangible impact.
Why did you join dss+?
I joined dss+ during its merger with Sofies, which was an exciting time full of potential. The combination of sustainability, risk management, and operational excellence was a major draw for me. This unique integration allows us to provide well-rounded solutions to clients across industries, positioning dss+ as a leader in driving sustainable and safe operational practices.

What are you most proud of?
What makes me most proud is being part of a company that makes a real difference. Whether it’s guiding major corporations or helping smaller businesses embrace sustainability, seeing the positive outcomes of our work is incredibly rewarding. I love that we can influence significant shifts in industry practices while also creating visible, practical impacts for smaller clients.
What do our values mean to you?
The dss+ value of environmental stewardship really resonates with me, especially with my background in environmental science. It’s all about ensuring we use resources responsibly, so we leave the planet in a better state for future generations. Our values—environmental stewardship, saving lives, and respecting people—aren’t separate concepts; they are deeply connected.
