Executing an Operations Excellence program at a large Oil and Gas organisation
dss+ worked with a global integrated energy company with roots in the GCC to implement an operations excellence programme. The organisation operates in several countries around the world and covers the entire value chain from exploration and production, to marketing and distribution of end-user products.
The oil and gas producer’s refineries in the GCC, as well as the aromatics and polypropylene production plants, provide fuel, plastics and other petroleum products, to the region and the world.
dss+ partnered with the oil and gas operation to execute an Operations Excellence program through the installation of Lean principles, which resulted in tens of millions of dollars in value being unlocked across 3 of its sites. This resulted in improved visibility, real-time KPI visualisation, and data-driven decision making. dss+ was selected to deploy this ‘Lean Transformation’ program following our experience in deploying a similar program throughout DuPont’s 200 facilities globally.
